I began this new technique about a year ago, when I combined several experiments together. I have called this recent work " Mindscapes" ( for want of a better word ) as I would like  the observer to bring their own personal memories and ideas to bear on the pieces. Titles can either open a door or handcuff a work?

The work on paper has helped me think through several ideas ; some are very small, with a few at about 30 cms square, but they all nudge me forward to larger pieces and the canvas or wooden supports, where the technique has to adapt somewhat.

The art fair was a big success. It was good to see old friends and those who liked what I had on the stand. A very encouraging couple of days. Thanks if you did visit R. C. A. F.

I was at the Creek gallery in Thatcham (Berks Open Studio)

and the National Trust , Runnymede gallery.

I am now working two commissions and exhibition entries, as well as sculpture pieces! There is never enough time, but at least it is an interesting journey.

I enjoyed Urban art in London recently; it had a great relaxed atmosphere in the open air and sunshine. A few sales and lovely comments.

Getting back to work, I seem to have concentrated on found objects and large canvases.... will get them on the site next month I hope.
